What is Western Boxing
Western Boxing, also known as “traditional boxing,” is a combat sport where two fighters in gloves attempt to punch each other in a boxing ring. The objective is to land as many punches on your opponent as possible while avoiding being hit yourself. With roots dating back to ancient Greece and Rome, boxing has a long and fascinating history. Nowadays, boxing has become a popular sport and is renowned for being the most technical and physically demanding of all combat sports. It requires a combination of speed, strength, endurance, agility, strategic thinking, and mental toughness. Boxing is also well-known for its unique culture and traditions, from the iconic ring announcer’s introduction to the colorful personalities of its fighters.
Western Boxing training can help you improve your physical fitness, balance, coordination, flexibility, and mental toughness. It’s a great way to build strength, endurance, and confidence, while also learning practical self-defense skills.
Group Training
Western Boxing group classes taught by our experienced trainers. The sessions focus on stance, footwork, punches, and defense techniques. Our group training is open to all ages and levels, from complete beginners to fighters, and is tailored to suit various levels and abilities. Improve your physical fitness, balance, coordination, flexibility, and mental toughness while learning practical self-defense skills.
What to expect
Our Western Boxing classes begin with a warm-up that includes running, skipping, shadow boxing, and stretching. Afterward, you’ll get a chance to drink water and wrap your hands. The trainer will demonstrate various Boxing techniques, which you’ll practice with your partner. Western Boxing classes focus mostly on partner drills and bag drills. At the end of the class, you’ll have the opportunity to spar, followed by a cool-down and stretching.
Private Training
Boost your learning process by booking private training at our office. Whether you’re a beginner looking to understand the basics better or an advanced striker seeking to refine your skill set, private training is an excellent way to speed up your progress.
